Suggested camber angle for Cooksport springs

I got a feeling that somebody would suggest that, i don't think i can go far with having it set somewhere in that region. Thanks for your replies guys, i appreciate it and i can now go armed with some numbers now to get an angle dialled in at my nearest specialist to deal with that for me. ☺

Suggested camber angle for Cooksport springs

Cool mate, i was intending on doing a kangoo conversion using my then current Ph1 as the donor hence my username, never got off the ground though, shame as i had both good vehicles to make a good sportvan.

Suggested camber angle for Cooksport springs

Has anyone a sensible (not aggressive) camber angle they can suggest to me that works well with Cooksport springs on a 182 Cup for road use...? We have another car in the family (not Clio Sport) that runs 1 degree negative camber with the toe set to parallel and that gives a nice feel on turn...

Heater Matrix - Nissens OE replacement

Yeah, it is, VERY INVOLVED !!! - best advise i can give is unless you do plenty of spannering or, don't tend to get involved in stripping things heavily, leave well alone. The best way to tackle it is with a replacement matrix ready to go straight in the moment you gain access, its a good full...

Heater Matrix - Nissens OE replacement

Thanks chaps, the quality was questionable to start with by me having to trim the plastic end cap body to fit perfect in the heater box with its retaining tabs. I later struggled with those poxy so called quick release hose fitting attachments, but manipulated the securing ring inside so it...

    Ph1 Issue

The vacuum pipe you are looking for to rule out the problem is to the right of the inlet (n/s) underneath - the fourth inlet runner, check you have something fitted form there up to the throttle body, the pipe inside diameter is a typically common 3/4mm. Its worth fitting a brand new section of...

    Missfire / hesitation under acceleration

Hmmm, the reason i prefer Ph1's with just a single lambda set up, gotta be more sought after if your looking to purchase an ever increasingly rare Ph1....

    Ph1 Issue

I had to get a replacement secondhand TB, its made it loads better but i too tried to centralize the flap, just wasn't happening. Tried with the grab washer but it only made the throttle flap stick. I think once they have had so much use you have had it with these TB's, and the cost is...

    Hit and miss - misfire

Well i cleaned up the MAP sensor of excess oil build up with panel wipe solvent and found a small amount of water kicking around the leads so not sure what has made the greatest difference but combined, has made ALL the difference !!! Runs sweet now and healthier than ever and treated it to some...

    Hit and miss - misfire

Yep, brand new. The car was running well earlier, no more then five minutes after setting off in it, it started playing up again....? The leads are in the correct orientation too, and thats not relying on thr incorrecly marked leads that can catch most peole out...

    Hit and miss - misfire

Ok, state of play at the moment, changed leads, plugs, coilpack, with known good ones of a mates car that has no issues whatsoever. Checked the timing by inseting the genuine Renault tools, all bob on, code read again with no faults coming up but still have this persistent misfire. Also checked...

    Hit and miss - misfire

Thanks for the suggestions guys, never gave those any thought and yet i have had similar issues on other cars behaving along the same lines. Will check and report back

    Hit and miss - misfire

Yeah it gets up to temp ok, seems to be as it warms the problem is only accentuated. Starting it from cold with that disconnected makes no difference too Real puzzled, looks to be a new crank sensor so doubt that is the culprit as its unlikely it would run at all if that was at fault as its dry...

    Hit and miss - misfire

When started from stone cold, runs fine, revs clean with no flat spots, but as the engine gradually starts to warm the engine develops a misfire that's not exactly consistent but scattered so to speak, the car will run albeit pretty roughly but it can momentarily clear with some revs but there's...
