where is the UJ on clio sport 182 steering rack. Any one got any pictures or a diagram to show me where on the rack this might be thanks! I believe this has got play in it but o do t know where/what the bloody thing is!

Sorry to bring up an old thread. But this sounds like my last option too. I've tried and replaced everything bar the rack. My question is can the rack be removed and be replaced without removing the engine?

On the A650 this morning heading into keighley about 0730 I saw a silver 172 with a yellow roll cage. Looked and sounded well.

Driveshafts/cv pal! Mine does it as well. Just struggling to find some as the garage I use wants over £350 to replace and fit them.

Noticed this morning after washing my car that at the top of each corner of my windscreen it seems to be coming away. Is this normal or does it need replacing/resealing. What will happen if I leave it and has anyone else got/had the same problem.

If it is the wish bone bushes are they easy to replace or would it be better replacing with new wish bones?

Tracking was done about 6months ago with the wheels so I can safely eliminate that.

It feels like tramlining a bit. If that's the term we use. The whole car moves from side to side going over bumps in the roads. It's a tough one to explain.

Would the dampers cause the car to wobble though?

Recently I changed my steering rack bushes as the handling was all over the place. This made a huge difference. Now that's been done i seem to notice other underlying problems. The car when I go over bumps seems to have a wobble left and right even in a straight line at low speeds i.e. 30/40mph...

Hi. I just wondered quickly why my temperature gauge in my car is way out on the display in the centre console. For eg.... This morning I know it's about 3c outside from looking on my phone but my display is saying -5. Is it a simple fix?

Hi guys. I was hoping someone can shed some light on these warning lights. It's the third time these have come on together at the same time in less than 3 months. They came on whilst driving last night and stayed on. I started my car up this morning and they have disappeared again till next...

I've yet to do mine but have you tried replacing your rack bushes first? My 182ff is all sloppy on the handling as well. Cheaper and easier option 1st. Bushes for the rack are only about £20.

I've yet to do mine!! Ive been putting it off for ages as the whole lining the cogs up scares me. I'm scared I'll break something.....
