Wind Deflectors, love 'em or hate 'em?

  1.2 Mk2 Clio
Personally I like them and am looking to buy some for my Clio, although I'm just wondering why it seems everyone has them? What does it offer to the car really other than deflecting the wind of course, do some think they add style? I'm just curious. Also, are there any that I should buy over others?

My Cup would have them if it was a daily drive. It would be quieter on the motorway if I put an actual sail out the window I'm sure!

Definitely not.
If you want them for a purpose, get them. If it's a fashion thing, don't bother.

I want some for the A3. Every time it's wet and I open the window I get a wet door card. Dam dat beadage.

I think they look tacky. Nothing as bad as seeing a new ish BMW or Audi lowered with wind deflectors.

Team Heko's if your getting a set. There also tinted so the stop the sun glare too.

That has benefits if your line of sight is right through the 25mm deep tinted piece of plastic wedged into your door-frame I suppose.

Personally I think they're hideous, all the more so when on FSTOC they deem them absolutely vital for modern motoring. Just LOL

I've bought them for every car I've owned, saves getting wet they can be a bit hit and miss i personally think they look better on mk3's than mk2's but I wouldn't be without them!

I think it depends on the colour fo the car too, again this is my only opinion, but I was wondering whther they woudl look alright or not, and they dont look too bad on my black 182, its one of those some people like, some people hate sort of things haha

I don't like how they look but I like the functionality. I like to have the windows down a little bit throughout the year, for some fresh air in the cabin and also to listen to the turbo whoosh (childish I know haha!).
