yeah i ran a fault code last night and it said misfire on cylinder 4. it could be an injector or a bad connection to the injector. The plugs, leads and coil were new not long ago so i wouldnt think it is that.
i will have a look at the throttle body later but i cleaned it out not long ago....could it be fueling. save me going to renault and them charging me silly amounts just want to try and sort it myself.
my 182 has recently started running bad around 2k revs it hesitates and then will go past that and be ok to redline. It sounds even worse on idle it splutters and feels like the engine has a missfire.
I have changed plugs, leads and coil and it is still going. What do people suggest it could be?
I have just fitted a Yozza cat back system on my 182. The car is now running really rich and puts soot up the rear bumper. I have disconnected the battery over night to try and reset the ecu but it is still rich.
Do i need a remap or will it sort itself out?
nice, i am wanting to do some catcams 431 i think are the most you can do off a standard ECU. got an induction kit already and will be ordering the dcat soon.
i was looking at the ones on ebay and some came with the second sensor plugged off. Didn't know if you could just unplug it and leave it out without the engine going into a limp mode.
What are better springs for fast road/track. H&R or Eibach Sportlines on standard Non cup suspension? And is it a good mod to do solid top mounts.
Thank You
the 421 seemed to grab me as it pulls well throughout on a dyno print out. The car isn't my daily either track toy and weekend car. so not really stuck in slow traffic everyday. so you would recommend the 421. Who did you get to fit them @Phase1sr ?
What is the best cams for a good pull throughout the rev range? i have read a lot about 421 being good. Just want to know what others think.
My car is running standard apart from an induction kit, so the cams would need to be compatible with the standard ECU, with a re map obviously.
Thanks guys
I fitted a bucket seat at the weekend and there are the two connectors that used to be connected to the seat. As i have read it has chucked up the 'Serv' and airbag lights. How do i fix this with a resistor can some one point me to a thrread that has the pictures of this?
Thanks
