My renewal just arrived from privilege and it was £150 more than last year. Called up to see if they would match the previous year as before and they just wouldn't do it. The price comparison websites were a waste of time. So I called Sky insurance and they beat privilege's renewal by £120...
To answer my own question if you're a Virgin mobile customer...You can just select the orange network now and go. I've got it as the preferred network and now have full strength all the time :)
I didn't name mine "the money pit" for a laugh! If its gone wrong, its been expensive and always at the most inconvenient times. I could of purchased a brand new car for what I have spent out.
I unscrewed the bonnet pin, disconnected and removed any corrosion. Took all the insulation tape off that I could get too and re-insulated, put a bit more around where I thought something could interfere.
Alarm has been set for the last 30 mins and nothing so far. Mine would go off every 10-15...
I've got exactly the same problem and the amount of chirps indicate the bonnet pin. Will see if I can fix it today else i'll let a pro have a look. Its bloody annoying though!
An old sky box will be fine, try to get an Amstrad one if possible. They are about £30 odd off ebay. Channel wise you do get more channels, but you don't get the Dave channels for example with freesat. If you get a Sky FreeSat viewing card then you will get a couple more channels over normal...
The network will handle full hd fine. If the file plays fine when playing locally then you probably need to adjust the buffering settings for streaming.
