    Airbag/squib question - Ph1

Hi all I'ev managed to damage the wiring for my steering wheel airbag :-( I can see two types of squib on ebay, and most of them are different to mine, as pictured. Does anyone know if they are interchangeable? Thanks

    Restoring a steering wheel question

Hi all I have searched on the forums but can't see that anyone has asked this question. I have a Ph1 172 leather steering wheel where the leather is kinda spoiled; not massively, but it could do with improving! I don't have the budget for having it retrimmed by snappy etc, so i was wondering if...

    Water ingress (footwell)

Soo... with all the rain recently my footwell leak has come back! I checked the scuttle drains and they are definitely clear! I have seen a few threads talking about 'resealing the heating duct' (within the scuttle panel), but haven't really got a clue what this is, or where it is. Does anyone...

    Bore of aftermarket OZ F1's

Hi all I wonder if the information i need is available on Cliosport... I have some aftermarket Oz F1 15's, but i am struggling to find what spigot rings i need for them (with regard to the bore on the wheel). I have read on this site varying sizes: 73.1, 68.1, 67.1; I know they are not 73.1, but...

    Phase 1 in the winter!

    Phase 1 in the winter!

A serious question to all you phase 1 owners out there: How do you keep your knob warm over winter? Mine gets so cold, I don't want to touch it! I have tried putting a sock on it, but it keeps falling off. I think i have seen a picture of someone with a tiny wooly hat for theirs, but i'm...

Phase 1 172 front shock absorbers

Right, yeah they'd got the wrong ones! Can anyone recommend the best place to buy a pair from? I looked on Renault Parts Direct but no idea if they're the best price. Also is it worth getting a new top mount kit at the same time, or does it vary too much from car to car?

Phase 1 172 front shock absorbers

Hi all, I can't find the answer to this in the forums, so resorting to asking! I've just phoned my local garage to book new front shocks for my Ph1 172, but the guy on the phone didn't sound 100% happy that he'd found the right ones! My question is are these shock absorbers the same as those on...

    Water ingress (footwell)

Woah... loads of replies in the thread without me getting an email notification! I tried a few fixes two and a half weeks ago and (fingers crossed) think i might have fixed it. What i believe was causing was that the rubber strip along the bottom of the windscreen (which sits tight against the...

    Water ingress (footwell)

Hi Karlos I started cutting mine with a stanley knife, but gave up and just ripped it bit by bit with my hands-like you say, it makes getting it out much quicker when its wet, and there's no noticeable difference when its back in the car
