I Drive mine normally around town and on dual carriageways and easily get 49mpg. Though i do look after my cars, and drive to the road ahead, i.e reading junctions and roundabouts so i dont have to stop. Makes a massive difference
I have finally got round to being arsed to change the abs ring on my 1.2 16v dynamique. Just wondered if anybody knows the correct torque for the hub nut and what size is it. I just want to make sure i've got the right tools before i take it to bits. Any help would be very appreciated. cheers
Auto express make me laugh sometimes with the rubbish they come out with. I work in ford r&d and they always try and guess what is coming out without having any real info on it.
It basically does the job of the synchros in the gearbox. So why do it? Because its a renault and they are made of chocolate! Also stops sudden weight transfer when cornering.
with the figures your stating your getting about 40mpg. i'm getting a real 50mpg out of mine. maybe check tyre pressures/airfilter? If you sell your car you will then have to find extra money for a similar age/milage dci which will take away a lot of the money you would be saving. just a...
