My 1.2 isn't as slow as i thought.

Was out last night and decided to go for a 0-60 time down the industial estate. 10.9seconds. considering the factory time is 12.6 thats not bad.

Still slow i no. but i was suprised.

AND YES THE ROAD WAS FLAT! lol

I love my lil 1.2 Constantly thrashing the wheels off it, makes u feel like a driving god! LOL

was just listening to the engine and feeling when the car was running out of pull. 1st and 2nd was about 5700. then 3rd and 4th was 6K.

+1 They are shockingly slow. Mine certainly is no faster than book speed, I wouldn't expect it to be its completely standard, the only way you would get into the 10's with normal mods is stripping it bare tbh.

There is one hell of a difference between the 1.2's and 1.4's! The 1.4's actually feel like they are pulling, where as everytime I drive a 1.2 it just feels as though the engine gets louder but getting no faster. And the 1.6's will actually hassle a 1*2 believe it or not.

I have considered getin a 1.6 put in my car. my mate will do everything Loom the lot. for £250 all i gota do is find an engine and box. its tempting. for that extra OOOOMPH

1.2's are obviously slow but compared to some cars in the same class they aint.. corsa's seem to have a slight edge once they get in 3rd. Fook thrashing a 1.2 everywhere though, engine just screams.

The amount you push the pedal doesn't matter, it doesn't go any faster, it just makes more noise.

Bang on the money it's quick for a week.

That and the fact I daily test drive higher end cars it's a little sould destroying jumping back into a 1.7.

The twisties keep me smiling tho. Not really a 0-60 kinda guy.
