I can tell you that, through the virtues of being an apprentice 10 years ago who watched another apprentice showboating past the college and deciding to correct completely terminal understeer by applying the handbrake, a street light costs £1200.

EDIT: LOL

Been binging a lot of Josh Gresswell this week, I know he has Taylor's (Autoalex) E28 in and I've followed him on Instagram for a while, didn't realise he had a channel, some cool stuff.

It's an old video he reposted. Interestingly he's got his MR2 set up to achieve similar boost at idle, but he claims he's doing it just through throttle bypass which is pretty wild. The rocket setup is mega impressive to see used in person though.

This guy still annoys me, but got to say this was pretty mad! Probably helps if you've seen the previous one too...

Misha is pants. Have no interest in what some bloke who crashes a lot thinks of someone's car tbh

Does he crash a lot then? I'm sure it happens when driving the way he does considering the track. Most people seem genuinely shocked out how capable their own car is in his hands which says something imo. Not that's he's some driving god but it's weird to say he's pants when he obviously wouldn't be as successful if he was 😂

I like the AutoAlex Cars, reminds me a bit of old top gear, far better than that 2 northern fools recently.
Humblemechanic is an interesting watch for VAG stuff, watched a vid on the Haldex on the mk 8 golf R what a bit of kit!

I heard the show itself was good but loads of faff with traffic management, seen people turning around and going home and/or requesting refunds.

Traffic was a joke tbh combined with the relatively late opening time too. Told to go to a particular point on what 3 words, only to be sent on a wild goose chase through a village before turning round and going back. It took well over an hour to get into Mallory from about 1/4mile outside the grounds.

We left early too to avoid any messing about getting out of there too.

Did anyone go to Officially Gassed on Track?

Yep, spent a few hours there, saw Christopher’s Z4M amongst some other stuff, there was an eclectic mix of cars which was pretty good. I didn’t listen to any of the YouTubers waffling though.

Would I go again? Probably not
This Z4M?

Yeah traffic outside was a mess, my son did a good job of guiding me around most of the traffic but like you it took the about an hour to do the last half a mile. Also is the way we went in (past Matt Armstrong unit) the proper way in. Seemed a bit odd.

Also the grass where we parked was boggy and cars were getting stuck quite easily.

Like you I didn’t bother watching any of the chats on the stage but did go around all the cars and left early.

Queues at the food stalls were mental too.

It was ok but I won’t be going again.

Went to sports cars in the park at Newby Hall the day after and enjoyed it much more.
