theres work vehicles also within that mileage.. my 1st car a clio i covered roughly 10k in 3 months my 2nd car about 25k in 7months and then the cup had 45.5k when i bought it in october 2010 and its now sat on roughly 122k i do atleast 320miles a week just going from my house to the office where i then get in a work van and drive about doing electrics in council houses all day ud be surprised just how quick miles add up just going from 1 house to another

well i bet its not far off.. when your driving from county durham to london and back every day for 3weeks theres alot of miles in that alone.. then when iv worked from the east coast right across to the west coast everyday for about 6 months

you can for me mate as i know myself iv covered about 90k in my 3 cars... i didn't include work vehicles on here as i DO NOT OWN THEM and we never used to have the same van all the time as there was a few of us from the NE on the railway and i go between 6 vans at the moment plus theres mileage i drove before having a licence on my auntys farm from the age of 13 soo go figure you carnt always assume people are wrong as in this instance your the 1 thats wrong

Just need a few facts. Have you been driving 2.5 years ? or since Dec 2008, there seem to be a few discrepancies by about 12 months.

december 13th 2008 mate i just checked my licence.. dont know y i put 08 when iv got 2yr no claims and scrapped my 1st car back in june/july09 ps i drove my fathers car inbetween the time of me passing and buying my 1st car in march 09

Look, you said you've been driving 2.5 years. I averaged that to be 300 miles a day, which is a lot. And I said it wouldn't be anywhere close.
Now you declared you've been driving 3.5 years, thus dropping the average to 200 miles a day, which is do-able. Now this would average out your mileage to be 180k from your first instance of 2.5 years driving.
IMO, 180k is not even close to 250k +. It would take the average driver 6 years to get from 180k - 250k, thus not even close.

I've been breathalised loads of times, must have been pulled 20 times driving in and out my old estate when i first got my TT. Only time i've been pulled for driving like a c**t was day i split up with Mrs got followed about a mile before they blocked me in on my drive, and told me my pulling away from junctions was sonewhat aggressive.
