Yet another question cylinder number order 172

Hi, Did a search but seems to be quite a few different answers. Which order and way are the cylinders numbered on a 172 is it from crank to gearbox 4321 looking from the front of the engine bay?

for the HT leads yeah?

4 is cambelt end, 1 is flywheel end.

Yeah think they were in the wrong order to start off with just trying to get them right.

Thanks Mike that's how i've set them up hope that's right as looks like the manifold needs to come off everytime to remove them and just bought a new gasket which i'm told can only be used once ideally. Nice thinking Renault lol.

Don't worry in the slightest about the gasket. Never actually needed to replace one, re used then many many times.
