xbox live help!

I have recently had my computer repaired due to a virus now i used to plug my ethernet cable into the back of my pc and then into my Xbox 360 and it worked fine now i have it back Xbox Live won't work?
When i go to Network Conenctions via the control panel it shows my Internet connection but the ethernet connection says 'limited or no connectivity' i think i have to renew my ip address to get it working but i don't know how??
Can anyone help me out so i can get it working again??

Tried restarting your box? Cant rember what its called :S

Edit: i had a brain block. have you tried restarting the router?
