window issue

my mate has a 1.2 8v 57 plate clio. his drivers window only goes up and down a small bit at a time (after some clown held it down as he tried to close it).
just wondering if the motor needed re synchronizing ir is it just f*cked?

They normally don't need re syncing on Clio 3, try going right to he top and holding it there for 5 seconds.
