Will the ECU lose an uprated map with no battery?

As title, had the battery dis-connected for a while on the 1*2 an was just wondering if the ecu requires a voltage to hold certain information?

I had to charge my battery recently due to the car sitting still for a month, it was dissconnected while it was charging,
and I still have my Fastchip map doing it's job.
