Why no Iphone 5 threads?

Any reason why we are banned from talking about the Iphone 5 on here? I have noticed a thread locked because "It is not out until the 4th" really? Bit sad that isn't it?

I noticed a Battlefield 3 thread which popped up 30th July, the game isn't out until 25th October! Is that going to be closed too?

It's been closed till the event as it just got filled with s**te rumours.

The iPhone 5 thread had been open since Jan 11

Why? Because every day the old thread was updated with utter drivel and filled with people asking stupid questions about something which, at the moment, no one knows anything about.

This thread will be opened on Tuesday and the OP updated with more details as they become available, same as previous years, to at least try and stem the constant repeated questions.

And for the love of god don't start your own thread about it until then.

Not sure which part of that is complicated.
