Why is trophy offset better than cup offset?

I'm aware trophy turinis are et 45 where as cup turinis are approx et 38.

Why are the trophy turinis preferred? I thought people would go for a slightly wider track where possible tbh.

Good question tbh.

I always wonder why people will pay a premium for trophy turinis over cup turinis, probably because they think that because their from a trophy they will look good on their car, lol.

The grN homologation states offset 38 and since the cup/ragnotti is considered the base model for the grN I would assume that this is the optimal.

Looks like I may have been wrong. I swear someone said they rubbed though!
