Which brakes??

I need some new pads so thought while I'm at it I'll uprate the disks aswell seen the k-tec package deal brembo hc disc + ferodo perf. pads, great I'll get these but then seen further down the page another package brembo max grooved + ds2500 pads. Now is the 2nd package for track use and would the first package be suitable for road usage with a mixture of sensible and spirited driving?
