What will stop boot carpet sagging into spare wheel wello

I am gonna remove my spare whell, jack and tool kit tomorrow :)

But i don't know what to use to stop my boot carpet sagging when it goes over the wheel well when the spare wheel is removed :S

As i still want to be able to put stuff in boot without carpet collapsing.

Anyone any ideas ?

I was gonna put wood across the floor and spare wheel hole, but aint that heavy ?

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
stuff the well with packing foam pellets and parcel tape it over. once the carpet is over no one will know.

i did what your doing and two weeks later i had a blow out miles from home. it wasnt good. hope you have AA.

i put packing bags in my hole (used in boxes like foam chips but are just small bags of air)

Stick the carpet to a bit of thin wood then you can use the wheel hole for a secret compartment for all your pron

Cheers Mark, ;)

Why is there a toolkit with jack etc when there is no spare wheel ? :S

And where is the Tyre Foam Kept ?

And did you put the black duct tape around the edges of the plywood ?

P.s Does anyone know what size and thickness of plywood i'll need ?

I was thinking of this stuff, but it'd go everywhere and expand too much wouldn't it ?

And it'd stick to my boot floor and spare wheel well unless i put grease proof paper down in spare wheel well before hand ;)

What happened in second pic ?

Or is it pinched from net ?

Fuckin hell mate one question at a time!!!

Toolkit came with the car and as I am aware all cups come like that.

The tyre foam cans are kept in a polystyrene tube in the tyre well more towards the bumper side of the well, it's just off the picture.

The black duct tape came like that when I bought the car

Plywood is about 1/4" if that!

Dunno mate i was only puliing ya leg, best bet is to measure the width and length then go down to your local diy store get a peice of mdf or ply to fit you would want no more than 6mm thickness depnding on what your puttin on it.
