lol the '80' is the best of the bunch :D considering a remap now though after talking to a few people at CSS

wouldn't mind a set of black xenons if a set comes up at the right price.

your just over half way to catching the van its @ 195k, remap should defo be on the cards next.

top job mate - looks great

you cant really lacquer the 3m vinyl - looses the thread pattern and just looks black, genuine carbon wrap or 100% carbon is the way to go but pricey - Ill be up to about £2000 worth of carbon on my car by the end of next week but love the stuff

lad in my street had a dci 80 and has just started to have a play with it - gonna print off your thread for him in work tomorrow

Cheers for the info on the carbon wrap. The 3m stuff is cheap and chearful, so will do the job until I can afford the real mccoy!

MINI UPDATE


Picked up a cup spoiler and brake light last night
Roof, spoiler and wing mirror backings to be wrapped gloss black
Sunroof leak to sort

Also got a set of 172 wheels courtesy of jonny_rs :) (cheers buddy!) so will be refurbing/painting these - any colour ideas let me know!! (thinking white atm)

Still got the headlining and A/B/C pillars to suede wrap (again waiting until the sunroof leak is fixed first)

I'm using your car as a 'goal' for my 1.2 ph2 in the same color..

I have recently bought a 65bhp 1.5 DCi Clio!

i used to have a 1.2, then I had a Golf GTi, but now I'm back with Renault lol!

Your DCi looks amazing, I am inspired!

Just wondering, where do you buy RS grills from?!? I havnt been able to find any online..
And I understand the basic concept of spacers, but fail to see the need? What exactly do they do?
And when buying the bumpers and skirts etc, did you get them from a scrapped sport? If not, where did you get them from?

spacers - push the wheel out more so nearer to the end of the arch

I can supply RS grilles (we are a main dealer who do mail order for CS members)

Spacers fit between the wheel and the hub to push the wheel out - fills the arch out.

The bumpers I got from the for sale section, sign up to become a member and you'll find lots of bargains!

Xenons - picking up next weekend
Cup spoiler - got just needs spraying/wrapping and fitting
172 wheels - got just need spraying and tyres
Black suede roof lining & A/B/C pillars
Fix sunroof leak
Gloss black or carbon wrapped roof
Remap
Sport steering wheel
Cruise control
Bit more carbon wrapping

Lol that should do for now!

Will do mate, think I'm gunna try that plastidip stuff. Wanted to try white but everyone seems to think white will look s**t! May just play it safe with black!

Cruise control
Carbon wrap splitter
Carbon wrap rear bumpre insert
Colour code boot button
108k service
Rear disc conversion
Fit 15mm spacers

Got some free weekends coming up so should be able to get cracking with some bits on the list!

Also still not convinced on using the Delta Mic wheels bolts - heard a few people that say they've snapped or come loose. Any ideas on where to buy the fancy looking bolts?
