Well needed clean

  BMW 330D
Defo not a "detail" but gave my flamer a good clean today. It really needs that clay bar thing doing to it so anyone who in Manchester area who can give me a quote please pm me.

Anyway snow foamed twice, then washed twice with gold class and then used this detailing stuff that was in the shed.

Looks alright..

Wonder Wheels + TurtleWax ? Thou shalt be cast out of this section !!!

:rasp:

Read the stickies in this section .. you don't need anyone to help you clay your car. If you do, well... there's no hope for you !

Pretty sure that its acidic, most people will use a pH neutral wheel cleaner, as it won't eat away at any paint/lacquer, and claying your car is easy, you can get kit in halfords, just a case of rinse the car, kneed the clay until its flat, and use the included spray to 'lube' up the surface, then just run the clay back and fourth until you get a silky smooth surface. Also when clay is dirty mould it until you get a clean area.

Meguiars Quick Clay Kit from Halfrauds is ideal for you.

It's always best to polish after claying too, as the clay bar can sometimes cause slight marring.

I can see myself getting in a right mess polishing it. What's the easiest polish to use and then aren't you suppose to wax and the clean and then polish and then wax and so on and so on

i thought you had to clay, polish and wax to seal it all in, im a bit of a noob too.. sure someone will come along shortly and let us know
