Weird Technical Issue with BT Openworld Email?

Had a Google, can't see anything obvious, seriously need CS g33k's for this one...

This is our clients laptop, so I can't change anything and just need to try to fix it....

  • Laptop running Vista and using Internet explorer
  • Uses BT Openworld for all of his email
  • Uses 3 Mobile Broadband Dongle on site

Only when he is on site, when he try's to send an email, the whole screen slightly goes white and IE crashes completely?

At home on a normal connection, no problems at all.

Any ideas at all?

Oh, right right, LOL!

I've never even heard of a problem like this, but I've watched it first hand, so I'm stumped.

I'm going to uninstall IE and try again... I'm thinking it sounds like an in email virus or something ridiculous like that?

As said its probably down to the speed / signal? IE has a habit of hanging like that when its struggling to do something. Instead of timing out it just crashes.

Try using firefox or similar as a test.
