Wall Plug Sockets & USB-C

So im guessing that this is an Apple thing as other things seem to work (Samsung Phones) on the wall socket.

Had a spark out and changed all my sockets in the house for a double standard wall socket with USB & USB-C outlets a few months back.

Tried to charge my iPhone 15 with them and nothing, So asked the spark to come back and check them and the spark was out this morning.

We used a LAP (Screwfix), Click Mode, & BG double socket, All of them charged 2 different Samsung phones with a genuine apple USB-C cable, A Genuine apple USB-C Thunderbolt cable and a generic USB-C cable from eBay but none of them managed to charge the iPhone 15 or my Apple Watch Ultra with USB-C Charger.

Anyone else have this issue or shed any light on this ?

Do Apple products require a specific charger output for them to charge?

Definitely an Apple issue anyway, otherwise the Samsung wouldn't charge.

I use them to charge my 14, the lad I work with charges his 15 pro.

Is there a setting on the phone that's knocked off?

The iPhone 14 / 14 Pro has a lighting cable.

Even when I use my USB-C Charger for my ultra watch it does not work, When I use my MagSafe Duo Charger with USB-C Straight into the wall it still does not work.

It seems anything apple As in device will not work.

To be clear the iPhone won’t charge from a USB type a to usb-c OR a usb-c to usb-c??

Standard Genuine Apple USB-C to USB-C Cable won't charge the phone.
Standard Genuine Apple Thunderbolt USB-C to USB-C won't charge the phone.
They all work fine and charge / Sync on my MacBook Pro or when I put them into a plug.

You’ve lost me now, how are you charging a 15 with a usb c to thunderbolt?

Yes and they also don't charge the phone.

How weird.

For reference my regular USB A sockets using a PS5 lead charge my 15 just fine.

I'd say the socket is faulty - I have a number of LAP DSSO's with usb and usb c - the usb c is rated at 3.0A 5V and charges all my apple stuff without issue [using an apple usb c lead]
