upper gearbox mount

roughly how long will the mount take to change? how hard is it to do, never done one of these before, changed the dogbone, upper one next, do i need to change lower one as well? manifold is banging under hard acceleration, cheers for any help

I had my lower gearbox mount changed the other day. The old one was barely even worn so I wouldnt bother with that one.

You have to take out the airbox and battery to get at the upper gearbox mount. Then support the gearbox from underneath and remove the mount. No more than an hour to change it I would say.

You might want to check your suspension top mounts too as these can cause some banging
