Updated android head unit and stalk won’t work

Hi guys, first post here!
I just bought a 2016 Clio GT and tried to install CarPlay on the android head unit by updating it, the volume stalk now doesn’t control the head unit at all.
If I reset the head unit will it go back to normal?
