tyres - help, please explain. :)

so can some1 explain to me about the width of tyres, people say 205s are better than 195s and 50s are better than 45s etc whats what and whats best for what conditions i.e /track/fast road/weather etc etc, i want to buy the best suitable tyre for when i buy my alloys

i would be using for fast road (b roads etc) and obv best suited for all weather conditons.

atm i have in mind these sizes..
-R15/45/195
-R15/45/205
-R15/50/195
-R15/50/205

please help, confused on what is what :S ??

the last one is the best IMO

195/45, too skinny, look wrong, horrible ride

195/50 ok, popular and cheap

205/45 never tried them

205/50 perfect look and ride/handling IMO

This really helped me with my choice .. Ihave to make the decision soon, the 195 50 being the best priced option, but i think i'm going for the 205 because of the geometry ; check the link. It's a usefull one :approve:

btw, ; you should go for Michelin PE2's , GREAT in the dry AND wet !
