Type r vs rs 172 cup?

What's peoples reveiws on it? I use to own a type r 52 plate be for my cup 52 plate?. I use to love my type r with the boost you get at 6k revs but that was it down bk roads and quick drives I found the type are no good but for straight roads :-(. But the cup is so good though the gears for short journeys and bk roads with no fail??? people whats your say
