Tutorial Request

  Mental 172 Cup
Ive had a quick look and cant really see much but would it be possible for one of the photography gurus on here to put up a quick tutorial on photo editing?

I know every photo is different but surely there are basics to be able to take an average-ish photo and make it look a little better just by changing a few values?

Thanks in advanced

Luke

Get lightroom, open a RAW picture, go to 'develop', learn.

That's what I did.

That's probably what most newbies did.

Come across a setting or word you don't understand: Google is your friend.

TEG hit the nail on the head really.

Exactly what I did!! Best way to learn is by doing.

What like how to adjust the hue and saturation values on a B&W image?
It's an impossible question......

Best bit of advice for anyone wanting advice on photo editing is...

Go to YouTube, type in your editing software, followed by what you want to do and there should be lots of video tutorials.

Plus, nobody can teach you how you want your image to look, only you can do that. There’s no set in stone way to edit an image.

Another way to prove this point.......post an image and ask 10 people to edit and interpret how they think it should look. .......go on try it.
