turbo timer,whats it for?

i went to look at a Subaru Legacy gtb import today,it was fitted with a turbo timer?? whats that for then?

im quite fancying one of these toreplace the clio ,what are peoples opinions ?

keeps the engine running for a while when you walk off stops the turbo buggering up

yeah, the freelander i drive has one. basically if you were to leave the turbo to rest after a long drive, the oil would just fry and seize up the thing. the turbo timer keeps the oil circulating so that it can cool down

Most of the time its all bollux unless u have been ragging the hell out the car and in the Turbo range all the time, its just wasting fuel. Taking it easy on the way home has the same effect, ive got one on my other car tho lol.
