It's 10 grand, have they just reduced it?

It might be worth it to a collector, someone who will probably never drive it.

u could buy one for £4-5k and buy a new engine (better than used) then still have change

I'm aware of how much you can get one for you berk, i own one ...

Would quite happily pay £10k for that. In fact, if i didnt already have one (& the M3), id probably be tempted to buy that one.

With only 16k miles on it, it would last me for years.

Id snap his hand off if i was in a postiton to warrant another, its #1 after all, and 16000 miles, worth it in my book :)

Oh rly.

My sachs did 168k before needing a rebuild. Which was easily sorted.

The H&R coilovers i had that were buggered after 55k, & trying to get them rebuilt was nigh on impossible, so i gave up.

I'm unsure why it's so expensive?

I dont read it as being number 1 either which is the only reason I would think it's worth so much.

I bought mine with three thousand miles on the clock back in 2006, for 10K.
Three yrs later & sitting at 17,000 got nearly 9.5K for it.
Not many cars that you can do that with.
Would I shell out 10K for another, NO.
Never go back, move on.

If it was number 1 then I can almost understand the price tag for collector purposes. If it is just a 16,000 mile mint condition trophy I would say probably 7.5K IMO.

If all trophy owners asked that it might put some value back into them

i agree with there being a few buckets on the road going for pennys but if i have £10K i would buy that all day long.

It's nice but I wouldn't spend 10k on it! I'd rather have an FF 'normal' 182 for half the price.

It's trophy number 1 you f**king burke.

the point is about having number 1. It isn't that over inflated just for the low miles dick head.

Although like the above, if it's not number 1 then it's overpriced.

Just got a response from him after asking which number it was...

Hi,

Dont want to sound rude, but probably will.

Why do you want to know the build number?
If you want to check if the car is registered on the cliotrophy forum, I can already tell you that it isnt, because I havent registered it there, and I know its not on the list as ive looked in the past!

If you are seriously interested you can come and see the car.

I will guarantee if you are serious, you will buy the car.

I am a member of the cliotrophy site, but do not participate there much.

I owned another trophy last year, and sold it on (higher mileage, approx 40k)

I am now on a quest to find one that I can drive hard on track, regardless of mileage.

I want to sell this low mileage mint one, to someone who will continue to keep it in the mint condition that its in right now. Scared to use this car as its in too good of a condition to abuse!

If you are a serious buyer, come and see it.
If you pay a deposit, I will get a full cambelt service done.

If you dont want that done, I will knock off the price to get it done (around £500ish)

If you pay the asking price, and agree to have the cambelt done, I will offer you a full refund if you are not happy with the car within 1 week or so of owning it.

Im a private owner and not trade.

Im 100% certain that whoever buys the car, will be very very happy with it. I think it is one of the best Clio Trophy's left out there!!!

many thanks for your interest.
