Think this is the first time ive been spotted in nearly 6 yrs of owning RS Clios.
That was me mate, thought it might have been you. It is still original, just about, only had a remap, panel filter and uprated disks and pads.
Yours looked mint, very clean, infact i wasnt going to park at the pump next to yours incase it made mine look dirty, havent washed it for about a week.
New style badges on the boot looked cool.
I went for a blast along the coast, thought i might have spotted you again but didnt.

Know how you about being spotted :( was just cleaned the day before and within 10 minutes of leaving petrol station it was covered in flies and found myself getting more and more p'd off with them (downside of nice sunny weather) was heading south so by time I stopped it wasn't a pretty sight then it had the nerve to rain which topped it off. Where abouts are you normally as not seen too many trophies around that area lately

Just live in Seaton Delaval, fill up everyother day just about at Annitsford.
Dont think there is many kicking about here now, there used to be one in Cram and North Shields but they have gone, also one in Gosforth which has also been sold. The closest i know of is Sunderland and im never near there so i never see any.
Dont see many BG182 around here either though, think ive only seen yours and 1 more.... + 1 that my mate Detailed a while back. Come to think of it i see more 172's and 197's around here than 182's.

The one in Cram I've seen a few times driven by a dark long haired woman though haven't seen it in a while. Occasionally pass through Seaton Delaval although mainly along the High Street heading towards the long stretch towards Seaton Sluice.
I have seen another BG 182 only last week in Cram (think mine was the only one around before that for last four years) and all I can say is please don't confuse this one with mine!!

Yours looked better than that, liked the wheels and spoiler on yours, also yours looked lower than that.

Spoiler from a trophy :) and resprayed (still need to get the shorter struts and retouch the scuff mark where the lids opens too far) got a cup spoiler in the garage but they're just so common these days :p I did have 17" pro race 1.2's on but then then rubbed something bad once the suspension was lowered (K-tecs Coilover package and solid top mounts) so I had the original wheels done in gloss black at the wheel specialists in Westerhope and painted the calipers ST orange just for a bit of colour :D

Got any other plans for yours - hopefully not stripping and tracking - seeing as Trophies were supposed to be a limited run would be a shame to ruin an iconic car.

How much was it to get the wheels referbished??? Mine need doing.

Next on the list for me is to get the dampers referbished, then the wheels.

Plan on keeping the car standard for now, dont know about a few yrs down the road though??? Would never strip it for tracking. One day i plan on a full referb of the car, engine, interior, paint the lot. Not for a few yrs yet though....

Wheels were £220 guaranteed for 12 months - I'm happy with the result have seen a few do-it-yourself jobs and the paint just seems to flake off easily at least these strip the tyres and sand/grit blast the wheels then respray I think it's worth the price depending on how tight your budget is or what takes priority www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk they can do a same day service if booked in advance.

Cheers mate, might have to give them a bell in a few months. Just cant get the crap out of the corners of the spokes now. The finish on yours did look really cool. Would just be getting mine the same colour again. Or possibly black........

Their web site does show a range of different finishes and bold colours they even do a flash chrome effect but you need the right sort of wheels to pull it off

Last BG 182 I saw around South Beach was last year when one came hurtling up behind me at the South Beach roundabout as I turned left towards Cramlington and it booted it around to the right past the seafront carpark, it had cup packs
