Transferring photos from iPhone 4 to Mac

Any ideas why they wont transfer? I have tried in iPhoto but keeps telling me that some of them won transfer. it will transfer all the ones from my old 3gs but none from the 4. Its driving me mad!

Are they corrupt? Try importing in smaller batches, or if all else fails email them to yourself.

Are they black and white ? If so you have to save to save them as tiffs etc

they dont show up in image capture and they arent corrupt as show on my iphone. just dont understand why i cant transfer it. very annoying

Sorry to kind of hijack the thread but whats the best way to transfer photos over?

not a great solution but if its a few and your stuck email them to yourself

or can you ssh into the iphone and get them ?
