Tickover prob

My car has started cutting out, then when i try to restart it, it misses really badly, the jet is trying to send too much petty into the inlet.

Its odd cos somtimes i just clears out and runs for a bit longer then goes again. I replaced the SPI unit with a reconditioned one, but it hasnt made a difference, anyone got any ideas?

Coolent temp sensor sounds like the failure its making the ecu think the engines at the wrong temp.

Yep new coolent temp sensor there only a few quid and a few seconds to swop to a new one.

If you tell me the details of your oval plate on the car Ill get you a part code and price but there quite cheap.

well i dont think its the coolant temp senser, because it only conks out when i come to a stop, while im moving it runs fine

just idle when it starts playing up
