Ktec'd 1.2 16v Sport
I was driving to work and pulled up at some lights and noticed as I slowed down to car was revving at 2k still and as I blipped the throttle it dropped back down. This keeps happening (at different revs though) and I either have to blip the throttle or put my foot under the accelerator peddle and jiggle it.
When I got home I got out and had a look at the pedal thinking a spring might of gone or something may be fouling the peddle, but no, however the cable is quite frayed at the peddle and on about 4 strands. How easy is it to change the cable? also cost and part number if available?
Just for info although the car is a Mk2 Ph1 its got FBW throttle on a d4f 712 engine.
