Cheers man, they are amazing cars and i do miss the X just built to refined for a weekend toy. As for costs...

Service every 4,5k and goes like this
* 4,5k £140
* 9k £180
* 13,5k £180-£200
* 18k £260 - £330
* Back to the start again for another 18k
* Major service at 45k (cam belt)

Tyres on mine goodyear £140 a corner been on around 6k about 3/4 worn so far

Fuel around 16-21mpg around town depending on driving, Motorway driving like miss daisy the best i could get was 26mpg.

Parts cost are not that bad lot of traders and companies now doing good deals can get a cam belt change from a specialist for £190 excluded Vat (Every 5years) discs are around £400 front and £200 rear

Rough prices but the killer is the fuel and the modding bug, servicing every 4,5k is a pain in the ass as well.

Cheers for that mate! Not too bad. I only do 6/7k a year so I presume to costs wouldn't be too bad at all...
Certainly something to think about.

What's it like compared to the S15? Sorry for all the questions.
I'm looking for something Jap boosted, that's all. ;)

The services still have to be done every 6months even if you don't reach the mileage, the smaller ones like 13,5k and 4,5k can be done by yourself just oil in the engine.

As for compared to the S15 its a lot more stable, faster, puts power down A LOT BETTER! nice interior, easier to get parts and mods for and bigger following for members and traders to help you out.

But not as a fun to drive as an S15, nothing beats a bit of tail out as you come off a roundabout. I would have an S15 again just for the fun factor, just depends what you want all out road going track car or tail happy drifter :) both epic cars in there own way.

**sorry 13,5k is same price as 4,5k £140 mate.

Is that forged at 451bhp or still on standard internals etc?

Standard with forged rods but got the torque set up lower and been like this for nearly 3years now, and still running strong with no problems or oil usage. The 9 mivec engine is meant to be slightly stronger than the 6-8 and a lot stronger than the 10 which seem to destruct near 400bhp

OP sorry for the thread hijack, but lovely 8 love the gunmetal colour :)

Thank you :) its a 9 FQ340 can tell the difference by the 8 has no rear diffuser and doesn't have the open front grill, 9 has rear diffuser and open front grill and is Mivec engine the 8 is not part from that they are identical to the MR editions.

The Grey looks epic on MR editions.
Cool, thanks for explaining the differences. It looks stunning!! More pics please :cool:
