Temp and Fuel gauge dash light gone/out?

As per picture and title, the light for my fuel and temp dials has gone out, is this likely to be a wiring issue/lose connection? I'm fairly certain it's not the bulb because when I turned the car on earlier the light did come on but went off after about 2 seconds.

It's not the end of the world, I can still see them ever so slightly, but it's something I want to rectify soon as, it only started today.

I'd take the dash off and replace bulbs, then give the wires a wiggle to make sure its not just a dodgy connection

There are no bulbs to replace, they're SMD LED's.

Run the ADAC test to see if they light up under test mode.

It's working again for now, but no doubt it'll go again soon. What is the ADAC test?

The stalk thing maybe?

If the ADAC is the same as the diagnostic, I tried that, but the diagnostic doesn't light up the dials/guages? Only the warning lights etc.
