172 Cup
Hello guys,
I have replaced my 172 cup shocks this weekend - second hand standard cup shocks on apex -40mm springs
Long story short it turns out that the car is sat on the Bumpstops
The car has been pretty much stationary for 8 months with the previous owner, the springs are definitely the right ones for the car and shocks are too.
So I suppose my question is, could the springs have shrunk/compressed from sitting stationary or could there be something else that I have missed When replacing the shocks
I know essentially the answer is new springs/coilovers but it's not an option financialy for me at the moment
I just wanted to know if there is a temporary fix for a month or two Or if I have not done something I should of when putting everything back together
Any help would be really appreciated!
Rob
