Stuttery when first started, especially when cold.

Hi guys,

A month or so ago my car began stuttering when started, occasionally revving to about 3.5k rpm then coming down slowly, or just stuttering for 20 seconds then settling down.

So I did a bit of reading on here about coil packs, £45 later I had the new one delivered and fitted it. This cured my problem but with the few cold morning we've had recently I started again.

And ideas what could be up? Lambda sensor maybe?

Car is a 1.2 16V.

Could possibly be a combination of things...

The HT (high tension) leads could be faulty or the spark plugs could be at fault.

Failing that it could be a faulty injector, this might be unlikley but failing the above two it could well be, a diagnostic test may solve the mystery..?
