Steam/white smoke coming from exhaust at high speeds

  1.6 ZS + Clio 182 FF
Hey!

The other week I went to see a friend who had loads of land and we normally drive our cars on there for a laugh. The other day I booted my 182 from around 20mph to 110mph and when I had a quick look in my rear view mirror there was loads of steam/white smoke coming from my exhaust up the rear window. My mate also said there was a little bit of petrol/vapour spitting out of the exhausts.

Is this just normal behaviour from engines under heavy load? The car is fine, but I was just wondering if there was anything to worry about?

Thanks!

Exhaust was probably full of water/moisture 182's are prone to having back boxes with plenty in :)
