Starting problems

Right. I was driving along as per normal. 70mph on ring roads. Then all of a sudden cut out. No warning lights. Revs went straight to 0 and ignition lights came on. Ive got it recovered home. Ive checked all earths, connectors and sensors to make sure nothing is loose or damaged changed ht leads and spark plugs, sensor on gearbox, general examination of all wiring and fuses, airbox etc and all is fine...

It just keeps ticking over but just not firing up...

When it turns over does the engine sound "normal" eg. Has compression?

Not wanting to assume the worst but I'm thinking timing belt until you say it's got compression.

Its got compression. Just doesn't want to fire up.

Unless there's something obvious wrong you're gonna firstly need to see what the ECU is seeing. If all there is fine then compression test it and hope for the best.

have you checked the fuel rail to see if your seeing fuel?

You can hear the fuel being sprayed through the injectors.

how can you hear that????? you can hear the injectors clicking maybe, but you won't hear fuel itself. Pull the line off and see if you have fuel.
