standard 172... what engine mods

hi chaps... ongoing build thread on the projects page.. car plenty fast enough... but you know how it is with mods
completely standard 172 bar fattys induction mod... i ve done for epic induction sound
including bog standard exhaust and ecu map..
just want a couple of ideas for say £500 budget, if its worth spending that... if not wont bother...
i was thinking of a map from engine dynamics in witham £200 or rs tuner map do it myself £170 , 2nd hand ktec stealth exhaust with silencer dcat jobbie (150??), with some matched manifolds... ??

thoughts / advice greatly appreciated..

I wouldn't bother modifying the engine unless you were getting forced induction. Or boddies.

Spend the £500 on tyres, brakes, suspension if need be and track time :smile:
