Smelling fumes :S

I have a Mk1 1.2 MPI (DIET) and when i stop at traffic lights or just generally stop when the engine is running after about 10 seconds i can smell a strong odour of fumes, this is worrying me what could it be? Could it be leaking from the manifold area? The exhaust was brand new in Febraury from the Cat.

If its an yuk smell may be the de-cat, i have this when the engine is beginning to get warm

i dont have a decat mate, and no it's definitely not blowing ive checked :rasp:

It smells like a petroly fume smell, buts its not outright petrol thats why i think it smells like exhaust fumes. What else could it be apart from the exhaust?

just get it checked, i thorght my exhast was leaking but it turned out it was just burning it as its a new part :| duno wot he ment but its stoped now
