sky Broadband + PS3

question on behalf of my mate really, he's on the free broadband deal from Sky, he says that his broadband is limited to 2GB a month..when he plays on PS3 Home or Xbox live does that connection count as downloading??

also, when he's ran speed test on his line it's showing 1.7meg max d/l speed and 380kbs upload speed, that gonna be quick enough?

Anyone else use their xbox / ps3 on this plan?

Yes it does, yeah that'll be quick enough for web browsing etc

Tbh if he's only got a 2Gb a month limit then it's plenty

didnt know that playing online would count for download content, u not think he'd go over the 2GB limit then?

I'm on the "free" service and it's just about ok for gaming, he'll only hit the limit if he downloads demos and other DLC.
