Should there be cold air feed on the standard air box??

Hey all!

I recently fit a new panel filter and noticed there's a oval shaped hole to the bottom right of the air box.. Should there be a dedicated pipe to feed the box, or does it just draw air from the bay??

Many thanks

There should be two.

One attaches to the bottom of the airbox and runs into the area between the battery and the back of the headlight. The second which is the one your missing runs from the box behind the headlight and down onto the accustic valve in the passenger side inner wing.If you have a look down into the inner wing from the engine bay you will be able to see the top of the valve sticking out where the caf should join onto.

Cheers Ross.

There is a bracket that runs from the battery to the slam panel just to the right of the airbox.Just below where it joins the slam panel there is a circular hole in the inner wing that the caf mounts into just behind the headlight. The connection to the airbox is right on the bottom at the back.

Cheers Ross.
