Scuttle Air Pressure

  Clio 1.6
Guys

Has anyone tried this : clio 1.6 2004

Removing the firewall just behind the throttle body and the sound deadening and the panel then putting about a 6 inch ram pipe with a low profile filter
Under the scuttle panel , spose to be a good place for high air pressure rather that putting a filter at the front what most people do ??

Any feedback would be good on this or any ups and down of doing this

Thanks

not worth it for the small gain you will get IMO. As you will want it as close to the bottom of the windscreen as you can, the washer bottle and wiper linkage will get in the way causing a restriction.

if anything try direct a ram pipe to just above the radiator, thus will get air from the top grill. thats if their is space to do so.
