Yeh, just go and spend 600 pound on some decent ones on your 1.4.

my thoughts exactly!! lol

if its just epic stance you're after, go with rokkor/raceland

if you want epic handling, itll cost ya!!

I think you can't now get any Racelands for sport.
I had also my thoughts about coilovers and i decided to get german AP coilovers (aka KW V1) - http://www.apcoilovers.com/ap_coilover_details.php?id=274
They have very good reputation in BMW, VW, Peugeot circles.
Excellent build quality, very good handling, hard enough, you can adjust camber (i did it with eibach camber bolts), they absorb also bad roads quite well...so in terms handling-stance they are way better than my previous setup (yellow koni adjustables + standard springs). You can lower them from front-30-90mm, back-25-75mm.
Plus i got powerflex antiroll bar bushes + wishbone bushes and now the car is like a go-kart.
Hope it helps.
