Removing hub from driveshaft splines without touching strut bolts?

Hi Guys,

Me and @leeds2592 are changing our split outer CV boots on the passenger side on Saturday however we both run camber bolts.

We need access to the driveshaft but we don't want to take the strut bolts up as obviously it will interfere with our camber set up and having to pay again for it to be adjusted is a ballache.

Is there a way to slide the hub off the splines without touching those two bolts? I doubt there is but thinking remove the bottom ball joint?

Thanks!

Yep, can either unbolt the 2x 18mm bolts for the ball joint. Or, you can get the driveshaft out by unbolting the track rod end and twisting it that way,

Equally, you can setup camber bolts to be pretty damn close with an iphone spirit level app.
