Recon Cup Alternator Wiring

Received my recon cup alternator yesterday from euro car parts. Its a recon valeo unit. The only difference is on the old one there was a pink wire crimped onto a push on connector. There is no push on terminal on the new unit. Any idea if it needs connecting if so where?
