Rear light dismantling

When trying to change my indicators on the rear I got one off but the other light one screw wouldn't unbuckle cause the centre bore is rounded off. Any ideas how I can get tho screw out?

mole grips or a tight grip with pliers is the best bet.

I don't think you read the question.

It sounds like the threaded part in the light is spinning. Only way is to break it off and replace light unit.

Use them to pull and break it if so.

MK3 light unit holder the same as MK2?

I maybe pre-empting that they are the same.

Got the screw driver on it to replace the bulbs but the screw that holds the light in place hasn't got any grooves in it anymore. Looks like the last owner fucked it up or so.
If that makes it clearer...
