Reapraying prices

Need some painting done and I’ve had a couple of quotes, just wanted to see what other people thought and if they seem fair.

I need to supply a Renault bonnet and then have asked for it to be sprayed both sides and then blended. Also wanted an extra quote for the bumper to be included as well.

Chipsaway:
Bonnet £305
Bumper £255
Wings (for both) £240
Blend colour into doors for colour matching £190

total ex VAT £960 Total inc VAT £1152.00

A fairly local guy (great reviews though) came back with:
The cost to paint bonnet inside and out and blend front wings will be £675+vat.
To remove the front bumper/fittings and repaint will be £325+vat.

Based in Oxfordshire if that affects the prices. What do people in the know think?

and the other guy £1000 +vat

Nothing in it really and sounds about right to be fair.

Yeh both very similar prices in total. I’ve seen people talk about 2 - 300 per panel so I thought they seemed a bit high. I guess you get what you pay for with this stuff.

For a front half of the car practically, it seems decent.
