Looks awsome, cracking work! always wanted one for the road, do you need a bike license or is a full car one enough?

Good god, as much as i love quads i'd hate to think how fast and scarey that will be! I flipped a 270cc one last time i had a go

i cant think how fast it will be, i saw a r6 the other day and he gave it beans and my god did it fly, now quads alot lighter than the bike...........

dude looks cool! nice work... your mate can definatly weld!!

on thing though you need to change that chain system. That chain roller wont last 5 seconds, there designed to go on the non tension side (underneith)

Can you not mod the frame to get a more direct route or lower the rear (i take it you will lower the whole bike) ?

if not, worse case use a front sprocket with a propper bearing.

gonna be quick though... just make sure you've got a propper helmet... just in case ;)

  vw polo mk4 1.6
yeah pal, i sed earlier in the thread that the chain is goin to chew f**k out that chain roller were having a sprocet milled up now with some bigg ass bearings through it, that will be ok for it,, just think were using the uprated shocks that came with it, god knows of the make we had to refurb them when he first got the quad some make disappeared! and as for wheels....were not sure ahaha

  vw polo mk4 1.6
were both at work for 3 days now nothin till sat, just leave the engine and other bits harderning for a few days, its all gettin built back toghether friday to test fit it all :(

  vw polo mk4 1.6
well we got the frame back friday afternoon, and.. wow, its looks like it was ment to be instead of the chopped and welded on steel, it really does look mint , £120 for the frame so its not bad price, it was horrible tryin tp wiggle the engine in with the frame so fresh!!

great read. will be an animal when finished. Makes me want to get my go kart finished now.

  vw polo mk4 1.6
right well this weekend was fun, the clock is wired up ( what a ball ache, the plugs was smashed so we had to wire each one up one by one :( ), well we tried to get it started but the fuel pump isnt good enough its shootin out 23 psi and we need at least 42 psi from the pump, but it DID turn over with a bit of choke cleaner sprayed down the throttle body reved for 20 seconds to about 7000rpm and kicked out lots of flames :)
